Vision Simulator is an educational tool created by Dr. Ryan Evans, OD. We respect your privacy. In short: the app collects nothing about you, and your camera images never leave your device.
The app can use your device's camera so you can see how various vision conditions would affect a live view of your surroundings. The camera feed is processed entirely on your device, in real time. Camera images are never recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or to anyone else. Nothing from your camera leaves your device.
If you choose to upload a photo to apply an effect, that image is processed only on your device and is not uploaded to any server or retained after you close the app.
Vision Simulator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking of any kind.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking software or SDKs.
This app is a visual demonstration for patient education. It is not a diagnostic tool and does not measure, diagnose, or treat any medical condition. It is not a substitute for a professional eye examination.
Because the app collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children.
